Bosnian Pyramids
If you thought that the only pyramids in the world are those located in Egypt and South America - well you might stick with conventional wisdom but you MIGHT just be wrong.
The reason I am so ambivalent about coming right out and saying there are pyramids in Bosnia is that, well, there might be and there might not be...
How can something as big as a pyramid be a 'maybe pyramid'... read on.
Urban Dictionary
Ever wondered what 1337 meant?
Hacker "Sp33k" for leet, or elite. Originating from 31337 "eleet", the UDP port used by Dead Cow Cult, a hacker group, to access Windows 95 using Back Orifice, a notorious hacking program.
ASCII Animation
Well, we have now come across this site that also does ASCII animation, and even better, if you are a Star Wars fan - practically the whole of Chapter IV has now been animated with ASCII art.
Check it out: Stars Wars in ASCII Animation, also known as Star Wars ASCIIMATION.

One red paperclip
This guy wanted to have a house. So he started with one red paperclip that he traded for something else. And so on. The social dynamics of the whole thing is starting to become almost more interesting than the actual trading aspect. But if you always wanted to have a film role and you have something valuable to trade, you can head on over to his blogspot - One Red Paperclip and see what you can contribute.
Just don't get caught up reading all the offers for hours on end - you'll laugh your head off for one...
Edited : 12 July 2006
It looks as if he did it! Today, 12 July 2006, Kyle will be visiting the Town of Kipling, Saskatchewan, in Canada to confirm the trade of the movie contract with a house in Main street.
Congratulations to Kyle - especially for the fun trip and showing us that anything is possible!

Rastamanskie Narodnye
Actually I have no idea what that means. We came across these pictures on a site that looks like a type of Russian MySpace combined with Blogspot.
But you don't need to understand Russian to enjoy these. See if you can figure out what they are....
Klingon Predictive Text
Eatoni is a company that creates predictive text interpreters for cellphones (well, handheld devices). They cover quite a lot of languages - for us South Africans, of interest would be that they have Afrikaans as well as Venda, Xhosa and Zulu.
