Your website content plan
| Home Page |
You will also start with a headline that describes a problem or a solution, (see the example for the Startup Website Package), and you will follow that with a brief description of your products and/or services. You should also provide examples of your unique selling proposition (USP) and why you are successul in your field. Your USP is the thing that distinguishes you from your competitors. Because your business has been in operation for a while, you can refer to your track record and what made you successful. End with a call to action, for example : 'Call us to discuss your requirements', or even better: 'Download your free guide to ....'

| About Us Page |
On this page you can briefly describe who you are, how many people you employ, your credentials, and maybe even a photo of yourself and your associates/employees. You should also give a history of your company.
|
| Services and/or Products |
On these pages you will briefly list your services or products. For services, describe clearly what you deliver and how. For products, provide some photos as well as descriptions and prices, or indications of prices. Prices are important! Research has shown that people specifically want to know what things cost when they do research on the internet.
|
Who you work with/
Your target market |
The kind of companies/business that you work with, your target market demographics and location. You can give scenarios of the types of problems that you solve.
|
Your Approach/ How you
work |
There are lots of things that you can have on this page. You want to bring across a sense of who you are and what it is like to work with you. You can also have a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page instead of this page, to answer questions commonly asked when people call your business, or usage instructions for your products or antyhing more that you would like to get across about your business.
|
| Client Testimonials |
Because you are an established business you probably have lots of client testimonials. On the other hand, it is suprising how few companies actively ask for testimonials - most satisfied clients are quite happy to give testimonials if you ask them for it, but you might have to explicitly ask instead of waiting for them to do it out of their own accord. Client testimonials are worth their weight in gold and this is an important part of your website!
