What is Photoshop?
Photoshop is the de-facto standard for creating graphics for your website as well as modify and enhance images for your site. Photoshop is an extremely powerful and complex piece of software but in order to be able to work with images for your website you really need to understand its basic operations.
This course has been designed with the web developer in mind. You need to understand how to resize and optimise images and how to create headers and other graphics for your website.

This one day course covers:
- Understand Photoshop workspace
- Making selections
- Working with Layers
- Working with brushes
- Enhancing images (filters, effects)
- Saving images for web
What you will get with the course
The course comes with full course material in the form of a course book and slides, as well as case study material and a case study solution for the practical part of the course.
Training will be done on a free trial version of Photoshop CS. Part of the course material will be a collection of free brushes that we have painstakingly collected through the years - these include grunge brushes, decorative elements, swirls etc.
