Starting a blog
Written by Christine
Saturday, 04 June 2005
I have started major work on our own website (this one!) at last. For months now it has been quite embarrasing since we didn't even have our own website properly populated - too busy working on client's sites as opposed to our own. How is that for a case of 21st century 'cobbler's shoes syndrome'?

I have decided to start a blog (well everybody's doing it, you know. It is the best thing since the metaphorical sliced bread on the internet these days) so I am afraid you are going to be treated to the life and times of Tailormade4you Web Hosting. I will try and keep it topical and hopefully you will be able to take away something of value at least. It is a business oriented blog and you will not be treated to the latest news regarding my medical conditions (assuming I had any) or, heaven forbid, OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION that should rather not be shared on the Internet.

Do you offer a SLA (Service Level Agreement)?
Written by Christine
Wednesday, 12 May 2004
Because we are hosting resellers, we offer the same SLA to our customer as we have with our hosting provider.

In summary:

 SLA Criteria  SLA agreement
Uptime guarantee:

Exceptions: Acts of war, acts of God,Backbone failures, DNS problems outside the service provider's control, Scheduled maintenance slots for upgrades

99.5%

Connectivity:An "outage” is defined as an instance in which Client is unable to transmit and receive IP packets due to a  service failure for more than 15 consecutive minutes, excluding service failures relating to scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
Hardware Failure:
Our hosting service provider utilizes only name brand hardware of the highest quality and perfomance.

Credits:
Our agreement is partial repayment for partial failure.

PS. We have never had to try and enforce this since we've never HAD even a partial failure
